New technology arrives at LifeArt |

The investment in the Kongsbery Cutting Machine and Vutek Print has ensured LifeArt coffins are the best in class personalised and environmentally friendly coffins, available to Funeral Homes and their families in the same time it takes to organise a funeral.

Kongsberg cutting machine
LifeArt has again invested in its future in Australia by installing a state of the art Kongsberg cutting machine .
The cutter has provided LifeArt with new in-house design and production capabilities. Our coffin design has evolved to produce tighter seams, smoother corners, and a smoother exterior. In the coming months we will introduce a complete range of coffin sizes, as well as some new shapes.

Another major investment was LifeArt own printer. A fast and sharp printer from Vutek was commissioned in November 08 to complete another part of our environmental coffin production platform.
Director, Eckhard says “Making Enviroboard coffins is now so simple and so clean. Start with 10 kg of recycled cardboard, add 60mls of ink, cut precisely, fold and glue carefully, trim and voila! A LifeArt coffin.
We are looking forward to showing off our production process to our potential overseas partners.”
The biggest impact you will see is an improved print quality, faster turnaround on personalised and customised coffins and a wider range of designs. We will also be able to commence work on a full range of coffin sizes.
“Because we can now produce on demand, we will be able to increase our range of designs. We will be able to have a completely customised coffin ready for delivery within 24 hours.”
Funeral arrangers will be able to sell LifeArt designs as prepaid with the assurance that no design will ever be unavailable. Even designs that are no longer current will be stored digitally and printed on demand.
